The Aristocrats
John Mallett (lead), Bobby Gibson (tenor), Dave Feltrin (bass) and Darryl Marchant (baritone) are all experienced barbershop singers and long-time members of the gold medal winning Toronto Northern Lights Chorus.
In 2014, these fine gentlemen stumbled upon a groundbreaking family revelation: they might, or might not be descended from European nobility. Naturally, they did what any self-proclaimed aristocrats would do: they formed a quartet to serenade the world with reenactments of their ancestors' most historically colorful moments.
From misadventures at medieval banquets to fashion faux pas at royal balls, they bring history to life all while oozing that stereotypical aristocratic attitude we've all come to know…and tolerate. They've infused every performance with a generous dash of entitlement, a pinch of superiority, and enough charm to make their butlers question their career choices.
